As the title says, it is updated! Now with a more condensed listing of only the parks worth meantioning at the moment. Plus some ratings on parks that are well known.
We are wanting your opinion! An idea has been brought up of allowing you guys to upload photos of yourselves skating and allowing other visitors and your friends to view your photos and comment on them. Would you be interested in a feature like this? If so, add your comment to this post!
If you are a local skater located in: Hamilton, Toronto, Niagara, Oakville, Burlington, Grimsby, St. Catharines, Ancaster, and other nearby areas, we want to video tape you!
Gather 4-5 (minimum) of your friends and add a comment to this post. We will arrange to meet with you at your favourite local skate park or skate area and film your skateboarding talent. If your footage is found to be acceptable it will be put on SkateSector for all your friends to see. Talented skaters preferred. Please have an idea of the tricks you will do before we arrive at your location. Thanks, and goodluck!
1) The amount of visitors to SkateSector is increasing each week, thanks to everyone for visiting!
2) One of our visitors, G-unis, suggested that we let people comment on the various skateparks in our area and tell everyone what tricks they did in those parks. So, we are going to launch a new skatepark directory that will allow everyone to upload photos of the parks, as well as comment on tricks they've done. It will launch when we officially open our website which should be at the end of this month or the beginning of next month.
3) T-shirts and posters are available. If you would like to advertise SkateSector or get interviewed or video taped doing tricks, email chadfullerton@gmail.com thanks.
CBMK will be taking out 2 of there mini ramps to make room for a new bowl. It should be ready in a couple weeks. Check our site for updates on the park.
